It was with great pleasure to be able to showcase our vehicles again at the 2024 Shell Gaborone Motorshow!
Every year, the biggest automotive event on the calendar descends on the Fields Mall, in Gaborone! To no surprise, this draws in a huge crowd of fans and petrol heads to come and admire what’s new in Botswana’s car world!
This year we took no shortcuts, and brought in some of our very best work for the fans to admire. We had no less than 6 beautiful builds on show, with all the latest
off-road accessories on the market!
One fully kitted 5 door Jimny, with a full custom build from Opposite Lock South Africa, as well as 79 series Land Cruiser! Both fitted with Tough Dog suspension, full sound system upgrade, and all the extra accessories you might need to go overlanding, such as the iKamper rooftop tent and quality Takla seat covers!
The star of the show was our newly built Next Gen FORD Ranger fitted with no less than 3 LightForce BEAST spotlights, that have just been released on the market in Africa. We were the first ones to fit and test these lights on the continent!
We also fitted full Tough Dog suspension, PAIK aftermarket replacement bumper, and the all new River Rock range from Takla Seat Covers.
We of course had to bring in our friends at FrontRunner South Africa who came with a fully kitted Toyota Hilux, with all the latest Front Runner accessories! The stand out of this build, was the all NEW Pro Bed system, and Pro Bed rack kit being unveiled in Botswana for the first time! This was a real crowd pleaser indeed!
Last but not least, we invited ‘PUMBA’ the beast LandCruiser that we completed several months ago. We went all out on this build, showcasing our latest products, as well as our fabrication work. This included custom made cattle rails, as well as full custom made, side protection bars.
We also had to opportunity to host YOUTUBE Explorer, and overlanding legend, Christoff, from GET Out GO. It was lovely to have him with us to answer questions, and talk bush stories with our fans!
Overall it was another successful year at the 2024 Shell Gaborone Motorshow, with massive crowds attending. We look forward to showcasing our very latest work all over again next year!
